What is Facility Management

Facility Management is a relatively new and modern economic sector, very actively influencing the economic and operating environment of all modern companies.

In general it is possible to say that it concerns the integrated planning and management of all supportive activities in an organisation.
Ing. Ondřej Štrup

It is a method of harmonising employees, work processes and the work environment in organisations. It unites the principles of the company operation, structure, as well as humanities and technical sciences.
(Definition by IFMA - International Facility Management Organization)

Facility Management outsourcing

Outsourcing in general is a trend of the 21st century. It is considered to be economically very advantageous both for companies which use outsourcing as well as for service providers. Outsourcing of auxiliary activities enables companies to fully concentrate all their capacities on the actual core business, leading to its improvement in quality. The outsourced auxiliary processes transferred to a specialised firm will not only be better in quality but paradoxically will often become cheaper. Overall, the efficiency of processes will increase throughout the whole company. The projects implemented so far show the savings on operating costs ranging between 10-30 %.
